I feel much more equipped in my relationship with someone with BPD as a result of reading it. This is a great first book for someone to start with in hopes of understanding the disorder.

Unfortunately, the friend in question ended up taking their own life. I wish I had learned better skills for interacting with BPD individuals earlier on.
