Small Town Travels submitted by johnnyringo on July 1, 2013, 3:39pm Bill Bryson is a great writer

Stories of his cheap dad. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 2, 2014, 8:25pm Made me long for the old days. My dad is similar, but not as bad. Enjoyable x 20.

Reads like a Midwest road trip submitted by MMCochran on August 12, 2018, 10:05pm The book has a slow pace, lots of generally over looked details, and hidden gems scattered throughout its pages. I didn't enjoy it as much as "A Walk in the Woods" or "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" , but still a solid travel/reflection piece.
