Sookie Stackhouse submitted by Jacy on June 16, 2013, 3:28pm Another Sookie Stackhouse book

Sookie Stackhouse submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 15, 2013, 12:49pm The sixth book in Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Mystery series, "Definitely Dead" Sookie investigates the death of her formerly-psychic-then-vampire cousin Hadley, who had had an affair with Sophie-Anne, the vampire Queen of Louisiana. This is when Sookie meets the witch Amelia Broadway, who will be a central character in upcoming novels.
Much of the book deals with vampire politics, which some will find interesting, but not everyone. The novel also covers mysteries of murder and theft. It is a guilty pleasure for those who like sci fi/fantasy books, but has no great redeeming value.
Furthermore, why does the cover art look as if a vampire a trying to pull the tail of the weretiger Sookie is riding, which in itself looks bizarre enough.

Oh Amelia submitted by majean on August 16, 2018, 4:41pm Introducing, Amelia! She is a witch. I really like her. Also, this is... boyfriend #3 for Sookie? #4? I appreciate that she has multiple partners in this series and doesn't just stick with the first guy (Bill) that comes her way.
