WWI Knitting submitted by sara on June 30, 2015, 8:31am The book begins with photos of boys knitting, classrooms knitting, and sheep on the White House lawn (being raised for their fleece,) and then turns into historical fiction. To me, the story seemed stilted. I would have preferred to read more about the actual history of WWI Knitting.
