Not as good as family but... submitted by Pumpkinscones on August 3, 2013, 11:10am This story of the Moomins has a huge flood wash them all away - a catastrophic incident that is seen by the wonderful family as another opportunity for adventure, rather than a cause for alarm. Finn Family Moomintroll remains the best of this series but this one is definitely a contender. For Snufkin lovers he doesn't appear until the 2nd half of the book but he recieves some consequences for his actions and behaves admirably. Give it a read.
