the hatching of my choices submitted by camelsamba on August 11, 2022, 11:31pm There was an interesting literary current running through the last 30 pages or so of the book. Mangan starts with "I am present at the hatching of my terror." which progresses to "I am present at the hatching of my doubt. I am present as it lives in me and grows old with me." and ends with "I am present at the hatching of my choices."

What will he make of those choices? Unfortunately, AADL doesn't own the third book in this series - The Spy's Daughter - and it is probably my favorite in the series. If you enjoyed this one, make sure to request book 3! And learn if your suspicions about Hopko are valid.
