Good submitted by rimpopu on July 4, 2013, 10:44pm This is a good introduction to the character called Strega Nona who appears in a series of books with same title. This book tells the story of Strega Nona from birth to how she became known as grandma witch. It tells you how she took magic lessons from her grandma Strega Concetta, how she meets a new friend who later becomes known as Strega Amelia, and how she gets the magic pasta pot. The story is well written and interesting. However you don't need to read this book first to understand the stories in other Strega Nona books. I would recommend this for Kindergarten to 1st grade.
