COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Perfect for Book Clubs submitted by sdunav on July 2, 2013, 1:00pm Very good - and not nearly as sad or heart-wrenching as many of Tyler's other books. It's the story of two families, one all-American, one second generation Iranian-American, and the girls they adopt from Korea, and their girl's grandparents. Lots of thoughtful parts about generational differences, being an immigrant, different cultural ways of doing things, aging, adoption, etc. It sounds rather damning with faint praise, but this was just a "nice" book. Kind of a feel-good book, but with substance behind it.
