very funny - if you know French politics

This book is written in the style of le petit Nicolas by Sempe and Goscinny. The stories are an hommage to this literary icon and are cute to read. However, if you know a little bit about French politics, then you might find this book even hilarious as the kids featured in this book are actually mirrored after real French politicians (for instance Nicolas in the book is in real life Nicolas Sarcozy, Segolene is Segolene Royale etc.). So their line of argumentation during a fight in school will be taken from real life and will revolve around the topic the politician is best known for.
I did not recognize all the "kids" featured in the book, but it was still fun to read. I just had the impression it could have been so much funnier if I was more familiar with French politics.
