Not the usual "Fly Guy" formula, but funny submitted by FordAlpha on August 14, 2018, 9:37pm The "Fly Guy" books are well constructed, humorous stories for beginning readers. This one is an unusual entry in the series; rather than an original story, it's a variation on the well known poem/song "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly". The "old lady" here is Buzz's Grandma, who swallows Fly Guy by accident and then, without warning, begins gulping down larger and larger critters to chase him. Happily, Buzz and Fly Guy manage to stop the insanity and engineer an escape before Grandma can swallow a horse (which, in the original poem, would have resulted in her death, of course). My kids laughed aloud at the silly absurdity of the tale.
