COMMUNITY REVIEWS
read it for the photos!

This book is hard to read. The author interviewed a number of ceramic artists, and turned the interviews into essays - but in some cases, it seems like he took a first person account and just changed the pronouns. There are places where it rambles and almost makes no sense.
HOWEVER, you probably aren't interested in this for the commentary, but are more interested in the photos. In this regard, it is excellent. There are numerous pieces by each artist, and most of the captions are nicely detailed about the piece. The text of the essays sometimes has pieces about the process a particular artist uses, but this is not consistent. Again, don't get this for the text - wallow in the photos.
