A New Series from OSC submitted by brady.emmett on July 15, 2011, 11:51am Orson Scott Card starts another new series (I wish he'd finish the ones he has going first!). It is a coming of age story told in two parts. Two young men with strong powers must learn to control them, and use them for the good. A bit predictable, especially for OSC fans, but a fun read anyway. I await the sequels...

Good start submitted by kathscot on August 11, 2020, 3:41pm An interesting premise: The old gods (Norse, Greek, a number of other "families") are real, but their powers have waned since the gate to their homeworld was closed by the Gate Thief. 12-year old Danny thinks he was born without powers but learns he is a Gatemaster, now a forbidden talent punishable by death. How can he stay safe from pursuit and learn to use his powers with no teacher?
