Nick Allen is ten years old. He started a new word Frindle witch meant pen. He made some of his friends get the word Frindle out. So everyone starts to use Frindle. Nicks teacher Mrs. Granger is not happy about it. She makes the students write pen a hundred times if the say Frindle. Then Mrs. Granger grew to love the word. I think this book is great. I couldn’t stop reading. Each part surprised me. I thought Nicks and Mrs. Grangers war would never end.

Awesomeness of Frindle
I liked Frindle a lot Keep making those great books and I will read them. I hope I will be able to read them. I read some of your books and I loved them too. I liked how in the end MrsGranger liked the word Frindle and know she is Nicks favorite teacher.

Frindle, Read It!
A creative ten year old boy creates a new word. I've never heard of the word frindle before. I really liked the book. What I liked about the book is that they created a new word. The new word made the teacher mad. It was just like a battle. But the teacher liked his word all along. She just didn’t want her student to know that. I even read another book Andrew Clements wrote. I liked that one too. I loved the books I read. My favorite one was frindle. I’m glad I read frindle!!

Frindle, The Best Book Ever
Frindle is awesome. I give it a 10. If I had to do a book report I would choose Frindle. In the beginning Nick Allen made up Frindle. Frindle is another word for pen. Mrs. Granger Nick’s teacher does not like the word Frindle. But when Nick was in collage he received a note from Mrs. Granger. The note said Nick I put Frindle in the dictionary. My favorite part was when Mrs. Granger put Frindle in the dictionary. Frindle is the best book ever. You should read it.

Not Just A Pen
Frindle is a great book to read with friends. I know that when I read it, I constantly wanted to read more of it. Frindle is about a boy who is up to his typical schemes who decided to make a new word. He always finds a way to waste time and make people laugh. He doesn’t realize that his language arts teacher is very proud of him. Frindle is a great book to read and write about. So go out and read it now!

Haley’s Frindle Review
Frindle is an awesome book! It is about a ten-year-old boy named Nick Allen who is in 5th grade. He has a very mean language arts teacher. Mrs.Granger is very strict about vocabulary. One day Nick tries to waist time in class. So he makes up the word Frindle. Mrs.Granger acted like she really hated it but she loved it. You should read Frindle. I loved reading it with all my friends! Go buy it!

Frindle is awesome
I just finished the book Frindle By Andrew Clements. When Nick Allen was 10 years old he started to make a brand new word Frindle that meant pen. Nick made some of his friends swear to only use the word Frindle instead of using pen. They even vowed to use the word Frindle. I love Frindle it’s an excellent book. My favorite part was when Nicks word Frindle was a success. It was in the dictionary at last. I got excited that the word Frindle was in the dictionary. I was glad that I finished the book Frindle, but I still wanted to read more! One day I just might read it again.

How Awesome can a Frindle be?
The answer is VERY AWSOME. Frindle is fun, Funny, FUNTASTICK! But it could be more exiting. Not Andrew Clemet’s best work, but it was still pretty awesome. The best part was probably end when Nick was in college. But I’m going to spoil it for any one who hasn’t read it. So go find out what happens! So read it. NOW!!! And keep reading.

Amazing Frindle
Frindle is an amazing book! Nick Allen is a trouble maker. He is in Mrs. Granger’s class. She really loves the dictionary and she wants her class to have great vocabulary. But one day Nick made up a new word, Frindle. Mrs .Granger gets really mad. I highly recommend this book for every 4th grader. It will probably be your favorite, I know its mine.

Frindle is an exciting book! Nick made a new word named Frindle and Mrs. Granger was mad on the outside, but happy on the inside. In the end I can’t believe that Mrs. Granger got a new dictionary and it had the word Frindle in it! I wonder if a Frindle is real. Frindle is an exciting book. Frindle rules!
The book Frindle by Andrew Clements has a wonderful plot to it. A kid inventing a new word marvelous just marvelous. The author did a fantastic job on the entire story. I especially like the ending. Nick sending his old teacher a present. I recommend this book to all viewers. To present reader you must get this book! Seriously, check it out!

People later start liking the word so they start selling pens and once nick is rich when he grows up he does a very nice thing to his teacher. Read frindle it's a good book.

Fun submitted by emjane on August 9, 2013, 9:49am After thinking about how words are first created, fifth grader Nick decides to create a new word for pen-- "Frindle." The word catches on with all the other students, much to the chagrin of tough fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Granger.

The innovative plot and likable main character will keep kids turning the pages, especially those amused by the questioning of authority figures. Though the book lacks much suspense and unpredictability, readers will care enough about Nick to remain engaged throughout the book's 105 pages; the lack of suspense also makes Frindle a great choice for advanced younger readers. With the help of a handful of detailed pencil drawings by Brian Selznick scattered throughout the text, readers get a great sense of Nick, Lincoln Elementary School, and the town of Westfield.

I really liked how it related to chess a little bit.I really liked how the words changed from pen to a frindle.I thought that was really cool, and I really liked how the teacher she was actually helping by being bad guy and I really liked how it went in the future 20 years and how the Word frindle was in the dictionary

The kids enjoy the humor and hearing about how Nick's idea changes things for him, his family and the people in his hometown. They especially like the surprising revelation at the end!
