Great Story! submitted by purplekitty on July 23, 2015, 2:21pm This book is a marvelous retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. It's about a young boy named Jack, who wants to live up to his name (it was the name of a distant relative, who killed giants). When Jack's father is kidnapped by the giants, Jack goes up a beanstalk to rescue him, where he finds that it is not as he had predicted. The giants' land is filled with magical creatures like pixies and, of course, giants. This book is really funny, and I really enjoyed it.
