Home cooking submitted by willow on August 25, 2016, 5:57am This is an appealing cookbook showcasing family meals that are reasonable for the cook to prepare. They are neither so simple as to be gimmicky or rely on cans of this and mixes of that, nor feast food to feature at a once-in-a-lifetime event. Jinich uses an encouraging tone to introduce her favorites to us.

There are some vegetarian recipes, and this is a good choice of a Mexican cookbook for those who want non-pork meat options.
