Funny submitted by yugure on April 20, 2013, 12:29pm This is sure to a hit with fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the Dork Diaries due to the "journal" format of the book. Timmy is a lovable but extremely conceited and humorously inept character, and I have to say that I really loved his polar bear Total. Pastis is great at saying one thing with his words but showing something very different with pictures. This is also a great read for anyone (child or adult) who likes Pastis' syndicated comic strip Pearls Before Swine.

It.. submitted by readingqueen76 on June 17, 2014, 6:07pm It was awsome!

funny for the intended audience submitted by camelsamba on June 27, 2014, 8:39pm It made me laugh out loud at times, but there were many aspects that were annoying. I suspect that's because I'm not in the target age range. My 13yo and 10yo sons liked it a lot more than I did.

Vocabulary building submitted by lballard on August 6, 2015, 9:09am My first thought was "why can't my daughter read quality literature?" but then I saw the challenging vocabulary words. This is good for building vocabulary although there is a lot of gross out humor. My daughter really loves it.

Timmy Failure submitted by Lila F. on June 19, 2018, 8:34pm Good, funny, entertaining book for intermediete readers.

This book is hilarious! submitted by BB192837 on June 29, 2018, 9:15am I could hardly contain my laughter many times as the blundering self proclaimed “famous detective” misjudges situations, upsets all, and destroys yards and houses in a car.

Awesome submitted by zqian on July 18, 2019, 11:39pm One of the most funny books
