Suspenseful and engrossing submitted by audreyh on June 12, 2015, 10:24am An engrossing alternative to the traditional who-done-it, The Devotion of Suspect X centers around a battle of wits between a brilliant high school math teacher and an old friend. As the reader, you already know how the murder occurred. What you're trying to figure out is how the high school teacher is managing to protect his neighbor so well. The translation does a great job of supporting the story, it doesn't feel as if you're reading something that was originally written in another language.
