Elegant, but obscure submitted by 21621031390949 on June 27, 2021, 11:03pm Not crazy about this book which I read for a book group. Elegant, but unnecessarily obscure writing. Even allowing for the fact that it was written almost 60 years ago, the dialogue is unrealistically formal, stilted, and vague. Motivations are bizarre and mysterious, IMHO.
