The concept is so adorable and it really brings the spirit of the season to life! WE like to read it at the very beginning when it's just time to start getting excited. Glossy bright pages and a great story.

Great Twist on Santa Claus submitted by Meginator on June 19, 2021, 12:13pm This delightful picture book shows Santa Claus carefully testing and selecting toys for each child who receives one on Christmas morning, having just as much fun as the intended recipients along the way (even if it is tiring work). The story is a surprisingly clever twist on a familiar tale that will fit right in with most readers’ preexisting notions of the Santa legend, and the illustrations have a rollicking visual humor to them that will evoke a smile from even the grumpiest soul. It’s a simple concept executed to its fullest potential, and I loved it.
