The First in the Series submitted by Keith D. Foote on February 25, 2020, 9:22am This is the first of the Alex Benedict series. It lays the foundation for the following books... which still keep comin'. This one is written from Alex's perspective, while the following books are written from his employee's perspective (A young woman named Chase, whom he sometimes treats as a partner, but he "is" the boss). As with all of this series, there is lots of detail about the future in the first 3/4ths of the book, and then the plot starts coming together in the remaining quarter. His uncles disappearance/assumed death provide an inheritance and home that lay a foundation for the following stories.
