Chilling in the UP submitted by pamhockey25 on June 30, 2023, 5:12pm The second book in the Alex McKnight series can make you feel cold on a 90 degree day. The description of life in the UP in January is vivid. The book was written in 2000, so it's 20 years old, and it was interesting to remember what life was like before smartphones. Since the series is still being written, I look forward to watching the technology progress. I like Alex McKnight. I found it hard to put the book down, and look forward to reading more about life as a PI in Paradise, MI.
