A science fiction look at some important modern issues submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 21, 2012, 12:04pm This is a very sad science fiction story about those who get left behind when their colony evacuates, although they chose to stay of their own free will. It also looks at issues such as debt slavery and land theft. Although set in the context of space travel, these issues are important on our real earth today.
