Go me! submitted by wendylv on June 30, 2017, 6:36pm In the introduction, Jen Sincero lays it all out for you: she's read the books and attended the seminars so you don't have to wade through all the "woo-woo". She's taking one for the team and giving you the best of all the self-help out there. And it is still a bit woo-woo but it's delightful and charming woo-woo. Throughout the book I found myself thinking, "YES! I can do ANYTHING!" It does feel a bit repetitive but I still enjoyed it.

Too woo-woo submitted by jcnnifer on July 17, 2019, 3:36pm I read a lot of self-help books but this one is too woo-woo! There is good advice on visualizing the life you want and undoing bad habits, and then repeats for most of the book. Good for changing your mindset but taken too far ends up blaming unfortunate people for not dreaming big enough.

Some great advice and lists, but makes it seem too easy submitted by tayjayfo on July 21, 2019, 4:38pm There are interesting lists that I found helpful in each section but as one of the other reader said, it's too "woo hoo!" Or makes it seem like anything bad happening is really our fault. On the other hand there are lots of little leaps of faith to take while reading this book that could benefit you, especially if you focus more on the positive.

Easy to read submitted by crp on August 15, 2019, 8:15pm The section on being on time has caused me to set phone alarms to help me be on time
