Great Look at the Ruins of Detroit submitted by Ryan Burdick on July 6, 2011, 7:42am I've seen these buildings, but hadn't seen the stories that built them. Now I've seen both and am fascinated, impressed & depressed all at the same time.

Interesting Pictures of Detroit submitted by monkk on July 13, 2012, 4:40pm This book is full of pictures of many of Detroit's once gorgeous buildings which are now in ruin. The photography is stunning, though haunting. It's hard to believe all of this sits untouched, and so close to home!

Pictures worth a 1000 words submitted by Jessica A Loffreda on July 11, 2013, 5:39pm I wish this book was out when I took History of Detroit 420 at The University of Detroit Mercy. The pictures in this book are worth a thousand words. I spent a lot of time looking at each of those magnificent and sad pictures. This book is an easy read and great book to buy and keep on the coffee table. It will inspire many conversations amongst your house guests.

Incredible! submitted by bookher on June 23, 2021, 1:37pm The abandoned beauty that exists in Detroit is heartbreaking to see here. I can only hope that one day it can be restored.
