COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Interesting subject submitted by Xris on September 18, 2021, 7:50pm The Basque people is an interesting subject, but it was a bit of a hard read. Lots of learning new things about history. But I was inspired to read this book because of reading "The Fountains of Silence" by Ruta Sepetys. I didn't know about Franco and his regime and wanted to know more. There was some about Franco, but more about Basque people in this book. And it would skip around from topic to topic, from food to wars, etc. But I'm glad I know a little bit more about that area of Spain and France.
