Good, but.... submitted by chadrbailey on September 30, 2010, 10:23pm ..."OK to eat macaroni and cheese in the bathtub?" Come on! Most of the rest of it's fine, but there are a few things that Todd seems to endorse with which it's hard for the parent of a toddler to agree. My kid loves it, though.

Charming submitted by Meginator on July 8, 2017, 10:43pm This is a lovely little gem of a book that reminds kids (and, perhaps, older readers as well) that it is, indeed, okay to be different. Parr covers many types of individuality, including physical differences and general preferences, and encourages his readers to be themselves. The illustrations are fanciful and accessible and, most importantly, don't pigeonhole a "right" way to be different for any specific line of text. Some of the suggestions are a bit overly specific or silly, but they provide a nice balance to the book's very welcome message. I'll be buying this book for the younger readers in my life.

Fun submitted by crp on July 16, 2023, 2:38am Fun read for adults to read with their kids! Whimsical and requires a sense of humor...
