Original submitted by lec.dank on June 15, 2015, 3:20pm Some people are comparing it to Game of Thrones, but I've never seen/read the series so it seems very original to me. The characters all have amusing and unique personalities, and the plot is brilliant. You can feel that the author was inspired by Chinese history, which is great!

Cool spin on fantasy submitted by renarde7 on June 30, 2023, 11:01am I've been branching out into fantasy based on non-western history/mythology, and am so glad I found this series. Original and full of excellent characters and worldbuilding. Looking forward to picking up the next one.
