Excellent connection submitted by liebermanjanice on August 7, 2023, 8:55am This beautifully illustrated book describes real events in the childhoods and adulthoods of MLK and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and shows how they both experienced racism and then marched and worked together in the Civil Rights Movement. This is a great book for kids to understand the way that some African Americans and Jews in America have been connected and supportive of each other.
