Great book submitted by unknown on July 20, 2014, 9:45pm The memoir takes you through an uninhibited boyhood that would border on child endangerment these days. Sacks creates his own lab in his parents London home after the war and conducts a number of experiments, some of which lead to him nearly killing himself. Through all of this he learns the value of scientific curiosity. This book might be the best thing for students new to chemistry and a must read for any chemistry teacher.
