Intelligence + Adventure submitted by Sara W on June 21, 2011, 1:12am I really liked the combined elements of mystery and adventure - the kids piecing together this ecological puzzle were real spitfires and I liked their fearlessness.

The family dynamic was interesting too - the kids "looked after" the adults while the adults handled their own troubles. The whole family had a lot of spirit and I loved the surprise appearance of another great character at the end.

The plot was well-paced, the story never dragged and it wrapped up nicely but not too fast. Plus, there's a couple good examples here to follow: getting along with a sibling can make for awesome teamwork and caring about the environment can be a lifelong passion.

Join three friends as they try to stop pollution coming from the waste from a boat club. A great story filled with action, adventure, and being grounded.

They're not necessarily realistic in every detail, or even always admirable, but they are interesting.
