Makes you think submitted by monkk on June 12, 2015, 3:19pm I found this book to be both horrifying and inspiring. A warning- there are descriptions of abuse in here that were hard to read, especially since they were true and done to someone with no ability to defend themselves. BUT the story of Martin's rise out of darkness and return to life is awesome and a reminder that a) maybe you don't have it so bad and b) to be aware of how you treat those who are differently-abled.
