I found The Waiter's tone sometimes hilarious, occasionally preachy and slightly stilted, especially when sharing his brilliant thoughts on how waiters are night-owls who need to learn to save their money with his younger co-workers.
But the book has an interesting premise and gives a great behind-the-scenes glance at restaurant life.
