4 stars submitted by watermelon on July 3, 2012, 10:28pm tells of a boy and familys journey and their life in america after escaping from the oppression of the taliban in afghanistan. the boys little sister gets lost in a sea of people trying to escape and they leave without her. boy thinks it is his fault and joins photo club in hopes of winning a ticket to india, near where the family lost the little girl. also tells of the horrible ways muslims were treated after 9/11. has happy ending but is surprising.
