Brilliant and underrated submitted by S S on August 2, 2022, 5:47pm I believe this is Rushdie's masterwork and highly underrated. He tells the story of Hindu-Muslim conflict alongside Western interference through allegory and a tragic love story. An excellent insight into Indian history, told in a wonderful novel.
