Movie or book? submitted by seafair on July 25, 2011, 11:25am The book as usual is better than the movie - intricacies of Haller's personal life come to light and make him a more realistic character.

Excellent story line.

Great book, better T.V. show submitted by asangtani on July 14, 2023, 9:05am In this first book of the Mickey Haller series, a twice-divorced defense attorney goes up against his first ex-wife in a case he's not sure he wants to win. The plot and character development are both excellent, making you want to finish not only the book, but also the series.
