Written for kids ... submitted by GJBarnett2 on June 18, 2015, 8:23pm ... I might just give this an A for effort if it weren't so full of errors and omissions. Two examples: no mention of the M1 rifle, described by Patton as "the greatest battle implement ever devised," the primary infantry rifle of WWII and Korea, and no mention of the M9 Beretta pistol, which replaced the M1911A1 in 1984 and served as the primary military pistol in Gulf Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. Better than nothing for a curious kid but not up to par, even for a kid's book.
