Great glass elevator submitted by chloeandrews on June 21, 2011, 7:44am Good book but never liked it as much as the first.
Great submitted by 0liviap0pp on July 6, 2011, 5:59pm A good sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but I really liked the first one more. I thought it was more creative.
adventure submitted by zachh on July 10, 2011, 2:37pm adventure story
good submitted by ColeenT on July 15, 2011, 12:07pm good book
The sequel no one knows about submitted by Allison B on July 22, 2013, 6:02pm Every time I tell somebody about this book, they don't believe it exists. So, Charlie and Wonka and all the grandparents go up into outer space and get stuck out there with these aliens called Vermicious Knids, who are bent on destruction, and frankly, pretty creepy. Don't expect it to be sugary like Chocolate Factory, this is definitely darker, but worth a read.
classic submitted by hcf on July 25, 2014, 1:59pm Great kids book
good submitted by lgpat on August 26, 2015, 10:08am almost as good as the first
Charlie And The Great Glass Elevator submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 10, 2016, 4:42am Dahl adds a heaping spoonful of science fiction to the fantastical in this sequel to Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. The vermicious knids are truly creepy aliens. I like how the rest of Charlie's family are involved in this story, though there isn't a whole lot of room for all the characters to breathe. Quentin Blake's illustrations compliment Dahl's writing as always.
Awesome submitted by smitanikhil on July 19, 2016, 10:30pm A very elevating sequel to Charlie and the chocolate factory. Enjoy!
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator submitted by Jojogold on June 16, 2018, 1:32pm It's funny because of the Knids and when they go in space. I would recommend this book to kids who like chocolate and funny things.
Not as good as the first submitted by Lmin on July 3, 2018, 2:26pm Roald Dahl is such a great author. I love every one of his books. This book is an absolute page turner. You won't want to put it down! It is not as good as the first one, though.
