COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Pretty good submitted by sara on July 22, 2011, 8:16pm I wish there had been more information about the early car companies and their founders.

Held my interest submitted by michl8705 on August 5, 2022, 8:29pm Although it was sometimes a bit cringe-y (white guy narrator with a ton of privilege who puts his foot in his mouth a bunch), it was actually pretty good overall and kept me reading. I like the world-building for 1920s Detroit in particular, and it was a surprise ending to the mystery for me. The girlfriend and the narrator aren't terribly likeable, but Detroit is.

Great Detroit History submitted by pamhockey25 on August 6, 2022, 2:19pm Nicely researched book with lots of Detroit history revolving around a mystery that takes place in Detroit in 1910. It mixes real-life figures with fictional ones, which is interesting.
