Or for most toddlers.

Most of the book’s pictures show only the Pigeon in various emotional states, from pride and self-satisfaction to mischief and, most memorably, various stages of distress. Readers of all ages will appreciate the book’s considerable irony, both from specific lines (the Pigeon has some interesting ideas about what puppies are) and from the overall storyline. Mo Willems has a special touch.
