"It takes all kinds of Pilgrims to make a Thanksgiving" -- cover.
Told to make a doll like a Pilgrim for the Thanksgiving display at school, Molly's Jewish mother dresses the doll as she herself dressed before leaving Russia to seek religious freedom--much to Molly's embarrassment.
COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Excellent reminder from years ago submitted by melaniecaughey2 on November 20, 2021, 6:56pm I can remember sharing this tale with my daughter (now gone), which was years ago when she was young. It was not a favorite of hers, but I greatly enjoyed having a chance to share it with her because of the important underlying message. I would rate 5 out of 5.
