Love the author, but not this book submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on July 11, 2014, 1:50pm I had a hard time getting into this book. Part of the problem is that I don't believe in ghosts & hauntings (although -- true story -- my dad had one of those crisis encounters when his first wife died six states away). But I don't buy into the kind of haunting that is going on in this story. But second, and bigger, I didn't start out rooting for the eventual hero. I though the heroine should stay with her new almost-fiancee.

Being skeptical of all the main points just didn't make this a fun read for me.
