Educational submitted by TLW1998 on July 21, 2019, 10:26am Great companion book to the Magic Treehouse story. It has a lot of facts about dinosaurs for kids.

No Feathers submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 7:17pm This nonfiction introduction to dinosaurs stands alone, going far beyond the animals who are central to the plot of the corresponding Magic Tree House adventure, although it might be slightly showing its age two decades after its initial publication. In straightforward, stylistically simple prose, the authors provide an introduction to dinosaur-specific fossils and present prominent scientific theories about dinosaurs. The book’s focus on *how* scientists come to their conclusions is particularly valuable for the target audience, and anchors the book in the scientific method without bogging it down with too much detail. Altogether, although some of our knowledge of these creatures has changed more recently, this is a solid introduction for inquiring young minds.
