The House of Night series is set in a world very much like our own, except in 16-year-old Zoey Redbird's world, vampires have always existed. my attention and has a new twist on the vampyre/magic theme. Very interesting and an original plot, I plan on contacting the author to tell her how much I liked her book and become a regular reader of hers too! Happy reading!!!

Pass submitted by yugure on June 21, 2013, 9:02am I couldn't get very far into this book. The dialogue was terrible and the teens (actually, the adults, too) all sound like stereotypical idiots. I didn't care at all what happened to Zoey and her mother was a laughable excuse of a character. While I give credit to the Casts for doing something a little unique with vampires, the premise of the book is not enough to keep me slogging through the poor writing.
