Watergate process explained
submitted by pk on August 27, 2020, 7:54pm
This tells the story of the Washington Post reporters, Woodward and Bernstein, whose reporting was instrumental in exposing the watergate scandal. This book takes you step by step through the long, long process of investigation - from the break-in at the Watergate complex on. What is most striking is just how long it took for all the information to come out - years! And how good long term investigative journalism worked.
Enjoyable submitted by emroon on August 5, 2022, 12:22pm I really tend to enjoy books that are written by journalists. They are usually to the point and clearly written. This was not exception. There are a few too many names to keep track, but the books remains compelling. It’s fascinating to see the step by step process of the Watergate investigation and how one small break in turned into a huge scandal.
