Read while job hunting submitted by cannonsr on July 3, 2017, 2:05pm I crammed this book just after getting a job offer. Would be even better if I'd read when I started applying for jobs so I could do the negotiation gym.
Worth a read, especially if you don't know where to start when negotiating submitted by juliashi on June 22, 2020, 2:52pm The authors of this book do a really great job explaining what prevents women from negotiating in a relatable manner. Not only do they take you through why it is important for women to negotiate, they offer plenty of methods on how to go about it. The book is robust and filled with suggestions as well as anecdotes of women who have successfully negotiated for things in their workplace as well as at home. It's a good read, and you'll walk away having learned something about negotiating, whether you're a man or woman.
