Andes Folktale submitted by crazypockets on July 22, 2012, 4:02pm An adorable and funny folktale from the Andes Mountains. It's not often an animal outsmarts a fox in a folktale, so it's particularly fun to see fox outsmarted by a guinea pig! The pictures are colorful and interesting. My favorite is the one where the guinea pig puts on his hat and poncho to go visit the farmer at the bottom of the mountain. Another bonus is that Spanish words are used throughout, and there is a handy glossary with pronunciation guide in the back.
