Nice Christmas Story submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 6:06pm This charming picture book follows Froggy as he celebrates his best-ever Christmas with his friends and family. The straightforward story and the ample use of evocative sound effects make this a fantastic choice for reading aloud, with the illustrations adding a colorful depiction of the book’s events. I was a little confused as to whether the hibernating characters actually *do* experience the plotline or whether everything is a dream, which is kind of implied early on but never followed up on, but this didn’t have an untoward impact on my enjoyment of the book. Readers don’t have to be familiar with Froggy and his friends to enjoy this sweet little Christmas story, and it’s a good introduction to the holiday for young readers.
