COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Essential reading submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 27, 2012, 12:34pm I highly recommend that everyone who lives in the U.S., particularly those who like being able to vote, read this book. "Mothers of Feminism" describes the history of the women's rights movement as lead by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) which has traditionally held equality for all people as one of its core Testimonies or values. I learned a lot about the women's rights movement from this book that I did not learn in history class.
