Disappointing submitted by -alex- on February 16, 2017, 11:58am This sequel does not live up to the standards set by the original.

While imperfect, Foundation was an imaginative and engaging work. Foundation and Empire, which is interesting insofar as it expands and deepens the universe Asimov created, is far sillier, and centers around a series of over-the-top 'twilight zone' style plot twists.
