Incredible Story submitted by steveiew on June 14, 2019, 10:42am Beck Weather's story of being left for dead on Mount Everest is an incredible story. As deaths on Everest continue to increase the story of the 1996 accident should be required reading for all who are attempting the climb. I wasn't expecting the story of that faithful day on Everest to be finished so early in the book. After the first 100 pages you finish with Beck's survival story and instead turn to his life after that. I was significantly less interested in that piece than in what happened on Everest.
